You have permission to rest. Take time to do what makes your soul happy.
Below are some ideas to get you started… sometimes all of the ideas can immobilize you, if you feel like that might be the case, I encourage you to go down the list in order and do the first one that seems helpful right now. I am inspired that you are taking the time to prioritize you-you deserve it.
- Drink Water
- Write in a journal
- Go outside (to a park or near the water)
- Take a bath
- Take a nap
- Close your eyes for 5 minutes
- Meditate or Use Grounding
- Light a candle
- Name 10 good things about yourself
- Reach out to someone you care about
- Watch an episode of a show or podcast
- Watch an interesting TED talk
- Look up at the clouds and try to find shapes or images in them
- Take a shower
- Take a few hours off of social media
- Watch funny videos on YouTube
- Write down things you are grateful for
- Vent about how you’re feeling (writing or to someone you trust)

- Celebrate an achievement (this can even be something like ‘I got dressed this morning before 10am for the first time this week’)

- Clean something in your home or apartment
- Start learning a new language
- Do something you’ve been putting off

- Watch the music video for a favorite song
- Unsubscribe from all of those emails you’re sick of getting
- Make a budget
- Rearrange an area or room

- Get dressed up just because
