Clear Fear: I’ve been trying out this app for reducing fear and anxiety. It focuses on what you’re looking for in that moment you can choose things like: ”Dealing with your emotions’; ‘Managing your worries’; ‘Reacting to worries’; ‘managing physical reactions to anxiety’; and ‘information’.
Calm Harm: This app was designed with the intention of helping those who struggle with self-harm. If you want help with the urges to self-harm this app is great. If you don’t struggle with this sort of thing, this is still a helpful resource. Choices include ‘Comfort’; ‘Distract’; ‘Express Yourself’; ‘Release’; ‘Random’; and ‘Breathe’. Once you click on one of these options the app gives you a list of ideas that relate to that topic.
Plant Nanny: This is an app that helps you drink enough water each day in the form of keeping a [cute] plant alive.
Mood Rescue: You can track your daily mood, select activities and get personal stats over time. This was developed by a clinical licensed counselor.
Insight Timer: This app is for setting aside some time to meditate when the timer is up it makes a calm and relaxing noise to pull you back peacefully.
Sleep Cycle: this as well as Sleep Bot can be used to track the amount of sleep you’re getting each night and can wake you up at the optimal time so that you wake up more rested.
WOOP (Apple Only): great app for setting goals and accomplishing tasks
Offtime: This is an app for limiting notifications, messages etc during certain times. You can select things like ‘family time’ or ‘me time’ and it also tracks how much time you’re taking out for these things.
Happify: provides tools, grounded in research to help increase your happiness over time.
